1. Regarding plasmids
a. They are circular single stranded DNA molecules
b. they provide resistance to bacteria against antibiotics
c. Plasmid DNA can be separated easily
d. They are used as a vector in recombinant DNA
e. Plasmid DNA replicate dependently

2. Regarding PCR
a. Human DNA polymerase is uses to separate the two strands of DNA
b. the second step involves heating the mixture to 95 degrees celcius
c. Primers initiate the synthesis of new strands
d. Denaturation of DNA is the first step
e. it is highly sensitive

3. DNA probes
a. are short DNA sequences complementary to a specific sequence
b. are usually double stranded
c. Are labelled with radioisotopes
d. Are used to detect specific sequences
e. Are used for genetic disorders like cystic fibrosis

4. Regarding vectors used in genetic engineering,
a. Able to replicate autonomously
b. have a specific nucleotide sequence
c. Able to replicate along with the DNA
d. Bacteria is an example of a vector
e. Cosmids and bacteriophages are used as vectors

5. Genetic engineering is used for
